An old age home with full facilities, where more than 35 senior citizens live without paying anything.
The sevashram opened three years ago. Since then more than 550 elderly families have taken shelter here. Over time many were reunited with their children — where a family could be counselled and a difference resolved, the trust did that work too, and sent them home together.
Daily life is not just a roof. Regular doctor check-ups, health camps, eye check-ups, yoga and physiotherapy are part of the routine.
In the last five years more than 2,200 families have come to the ashram to mark a birthday, around 795 to mark a wedding anniversary, and more than 1,300 death anniversaries have been observed here. People choose to hold the days that matter to them among these residents — which tells you what the place has become.

Meals, medicines and the doctor's round for one day, for everyone living there. Ring the office and ask what a day currently costs.
Come and sit
No skill required, and nothing to bring. An afternoon of conversation is the part nobody volunteers for and everybody there wants.
Nothing here is paid for on this website. Every one of these starts with a phone call, because they are conversations rather than transactions — and because the trust would rather know what you are offering than take a card number.
